A Super Highway Built in Queenie's Wagon....

A giant step( for me anyway) into the great big busy information superhighway....wireless internet service..yes, I am completley behind the times, but get off me! These incredible leaps into technology are scary and sometimes they take years to reach the area in which I live anyhow( at least affordably!)

I have been to every site I could think of tonite just to see how fast it loads! ( insert insane laugh here) I love it. Plus it dosen't interfere with the monitor decvice for Mom, so double terrific reason to be crazy about it. By the Way Kreig, I am off to find the stuff you recommended I get ASAP. First I have a few(LOL!) things to take care of...minor things, like bills to pay, taxes to send off( holy crap did I end up owing!) phone calls to make, faxes to send, and packages of M&M's to send( see Conversations From Iraq for info on that!)

So, I just wanted to let you all know that you will now be able to call me anytime with no fear of my being on the computer...and missing me as I know you all desperately do when you can't get ahold of me....LOL!

Okay. I am the Crkqueen for a REASON folks! Ask my Husband( shut up Wayne...I know you know too...) So we are doing okay here in the sticks of Wyoming. Okay, we suck, but at least we have wireless phones and cable, and internet...did I mention I have wireless internet?!

Mom is great. She is currently into this spiritual thing, and it gives her hope and makes her happy...so I am behind it 1 million gazillion percent! The snow is on its way....brought to us by the lovely wind, that never blows here...yeah okay! 90+ miles an hour last nite. Forget Toto, I want out of Wyoming! Alaska, here I come minus the red slippers, cause I look soooo much better in Pink!

Steve, I dont even know if you found this site yet...and since I haven't spoken to you in almost a week! I suppose you had better figure it out to keep abreast of what your lil Queenie is up too...no Good as usual!:)

Okay. We are all bored to tears by now, so catch up with all of my far flung friends later...some of you call me, some email, some just whine for M&M's! But I love you all anyway. Bye.

So I am posting in hopes of well wishes and healin' thoughts for Lucy. Took her to the Sawbones today and found out she has a potentially serious tumor on her hip. I scheduled her for surgery on Monday, and here's hoping we find out its benign, and that when they remove it, they get it all. The prognosis otherwise is such that I feel like pukin' wailin' and lockin' myself in a room full of wine and chocolate until my uterus falls out, and my heart explodes. For her part, she is takin' the news pretty well...the fact that she doesn't know squat about it helps a lot! It is complete crap that Mules get Cancer anyway. WTF!! This won't be one of my best posts', or really a funny one, but I feel as though I must be honest about some things in my life on here, and recently life has seriously kicked me in the face, trampled on my tender heart and left me in some difficult circumstances so I feel the need to spew. The Hubby, who got very very sick last Thanksgiving and continued to be ill and a medical mystery for the better part of a year, passed away at the young age of 61 on the 22nd of July, 2011. It was a stressful, shocking and altogether horrible event. Made worse for me by the previous deaths, also at very young ages' of both my parents...Dad in 2000, Mom in 2006. I had taken care of them both for rather long periods of time prior and it was no picnic to do the same for Steve. I would like to mention that for the most part,the Hubby stayed in what I consider to be pretty good spirits until close to the end. Then it was just hard for us both to cope. Dog Gone....

A storm blew into Queenie's world recently, and I plumb went 'round the bend. I decided that with all the recent changes in my life( Ya'll know they haven't been good ones) that I needed to downsize in some area's I would normally NEVER consider. I decided to re-gift a Mule. Pause here for dramatic effect. I can hear you all gaspin' in disbelief, and frankly, I can't even blame you. I felt like my guts were bein' ripped out thru my heart! I convinced myself that I was doin' this for all the right reasons, and that it was necessary. So, the other day, after much heartache, despair(these are my babies people!) I loaded up food and treats, hitched Stickers to the Wagon and roared down the dirt road toward town... I immediately told her to bite these people, eat their house, chase their old dog, and to harass their freakin' cats.
