That's Enough...



At some point in our lives we are all asked,or asking ourselves what we want out of life. I would settle for a Great Cup of Tea, a good chat with a Great Friend, and enough.

Enough Money to do what I want...

Enough Time to be with whomever I wish...

Enough Chocolate to keep me fat and Sassy...

Enough Friends to make me smile...

Enough Light to see what lies ahead...

Enough Mystery to keep me guessing...

Enough Humor to keep me laughing...

Enough Humility to keep my head low...

Enough Triumph to make me proud...

Enough Warmth to keep out the cold...

Enough Love to fill my heart...

Enough Happiness to make life worth living...

Enough Space to keep me sane...

Enough Vices to keep me imperfect...

Enough Talent to make a difference...

Enough Insanity to keep me striving forward...

Enough Innocence to keep me awed...

Enough Familiarity to breed contempt...

Enough Absence to make my heart grow fonder...

Enough Silence to hear the noise...

Enough Health to keep me alive...

Enough Magnificence to feel insignificant...


For it is only with these things that we are Human, and only when imperfect, do we strive to acheive Perfection.

So I am posting in hopes of well wishes and healin' thoughts for Lucy. Took her to the Sawbones today and found out she has a potentially serious tumor on her hip. I scheduled her for surgery on Monday, and here's hoping we find out its benign, and that when they remove it, they get it all. The prognosis otherwise is such that I feel like pukin' wailin' and lockin' myself in a room full of wine and chocolate until my uterus falls out, and my heart explodes. For her part, she is takin' the news pretty well...the fact that she doesn't know squat about it helps a lot! It is complete crap that Mules get Cancer anyway. WTF!! They are only with us for such a short time in the first place, and as they are buckets of Love and affection( and a little shit-bit thrown in if yer Lucy) is just total B.S! This won't be one of my best posts', or really a funny one, but I feel as though I must be honest about some things in my life on here, and recently life has seriously kicked me in the face, trampled on my tender heart and left me in some difficult circumstances so I feel the need to spew. The Hubby, who got very very sick last Thanksgiving and continued to be ill and a medical mystery for the better part of a year, passed away at the young age of 61 on the 22nd of July, 2011. It was a stressful, shocking and altogether horrible event. Made worse for me by the previous deaths, also at very young ages' of both my parents...Dad in 2000, Mom in 2006. I had taken care of them both for rather long periods of time prior and it was no picnic to do the same for Steve. Dog Gone....

A storm blew into Queenie's world recently, and I plumb went 'round the bend. I decided that with all the recent changes in my life( Ya'll know they haven't been good ones) that I needed to downsize in some area's I would normally NEVER consider. I decided to re-gift a Mule. Pause here for dramatic effect. I can hear you all gaspin' in disbelief, and frankly, I can't even blame you. I felt like my guts were bein' ripped out thru my heart! I convinced myself that I was doin' this for all the right reasons, and that it was necessary. So, the other day, after much heartache, despair(these are my babies people!) I loaded up food and treats, hitched Stickers to the Wagon and roared down the dirt road toward town... I immediately told her to bite these people, eat their house, chase their old dog, and to harass their freakin' cats.
