The Puppy Perdiciment

Puppies are the greatest invention in the Universe. Until you have to take care of one...

I picked up a pup for my Husband, something to lift his Soul, brighten his days, and generally keep him busy after his hectic stint in Iraq. I think he prefers Iraq at this juncture. LOL!

Her name is Lucy Lou( He named her!) and she is gorgeous!! She is 7 weeks, and three days old. Which means she is still wearing diapers in human terms. Now if only I could get her to stand still long enough to strap one on her! She goes 4 million three hundred miles an hour and that is when she is tired! Who decided that puppies had to have qualities of terrible two year olds??!!

She is an Austrailian Sheperd. And she is remarkable looking! She has a stripe( kind of like you would find on a skunk!) down her face, and lovley spots all over....think livered. She is very smart, and has more energy than any dog I have ever seen. I think Steve is exhausted just trying to keep up with her. The mules are dealing, though one better than the other. You'll have that.

She is going outside to potty( see me act like I have a kid!) and she is sleeping through the nite( Thank You Lord!) and has quit biting and trying to peierce Steve's Ears! You should see his poor ear! Queenie is glad He is MOM to her. I get all the licks and love...LOL!

So she has virtually sheredded my Wagon, pooped on my rushes, and pissed off the Mules. But...You'll have that! I expect Steve to Begin lactating any day now! He is like a nervous Nellie with her. Its very sweet. She is going to be his Wagon Dog. Good Luck to Him. I am going to sit back, hoarde my Wagon, eat bon-bons and stay out of the way. Holy Crap! Can she get into trouble. I like her best when she is sleeping( and that is not often enough.) Just wait until we load up the wagon and head Bleech! EAST! for Brians Wedding. I am sure we will make it there in six million four hundred and twenty five days. Minus every nerve we have. But, as I said, Puppies are the greatest invention in the Universe. Does anyone want one? Sell her to you Cheap. Just don't ask the Big Guy. He might load up his holsters and make you do the jitter-bug as you leave the property!!

More on this development as it happens. Meantime, Queenie and her Wagon, and the Mules are pondering what round 3 will bring. LOL!
